The prospect of creating perfectly round holes and pins is pretty appealing to me so I''d like to pick up a boring head. I just have no idea what to look for and what the TAIG is capable of. I have the Sherline boring head but I find it difficult to work with and there is quite a bit of flex in the body and the HSS tool. The usual 2quot; Chinese or Indian stuff are just too long and bulky to use on a Taig.

This head adjusts in quot; increments. Basically, you drill a starter hole and set the head to just touch off on the ID.
